"Don Juan Gigolo"
He pockets her heart like a coin –
but it's really her booty he's out to purloin . . .
so he keeps his eyes on the prize,
figuring there's plenty to go round.
Cocksure, he hands her a package she can't resist,
and they seal their deal with a naked kiss . . . .
To keep him
hanging, she wraps his rented neck
in solid gold chains, and he lets her
string him along like the precious sack she thinks he is.
But all that glitters is dust . . . .
To keep from thinking, she lays him away
in her bed of bargains and unrequited lust.
He's her dirty little secret –
but will she keep him?
Don Juan keeps time like change,
but her store will soon be emptied.
She's counting down to zero,
for this wanted man is not about to be her hero.
Business-like, he turns and walks out the door,
because that's what you do when you're all paid for.
